During the Fall of 2016 I crafted an interdisciplinary project that involved my love for music with my passion for philosophy. I enrolled in a Philosophy of Art course as well as continued with my voice lessons. From these two courses came my project Philosophy Put to Music. Utilizing concepts from Philosophy of Art, I analyzed three pieces of classical vocal repertoire, then gave a joint lecture-performance during which I presented my analyses after singing each piece. I recorded the presentation which you can watch in full or in segments accompanied by a more in-depth text about the song and philosophical concepts.
